Fighting dogs left to die

Organised dog fighting has apparently claimed another two victims after two dogs were found dead in a Mangere park.

When Ms Border found them their coats were thick with blood.

The puncture wounds in their hind legs were so deep that muscle and tendons were exposed.

"It's just horrendous, dogs fighting to their death."
